how do you think 'outside the box'? im trying hard but dont succeed far.?

any ideas?i need to learn to do it coz im not a natural at it in advertising and so i have to work harder at it or should i not bother with advertising? i love it and want to learn? can u learn to think 'outside the box' or should it come naturally?
